Why is Organic Food Still Not That Good?

Quite simply, the soils in which our foods are grown lack essential micro nutrients. Depleted soils directly relate to a lack of nutrients in our food; conversely, contaminated soils will produce contaminated foods.

Organic farmers must be admired for doing their best at keeping chemicals and other ‘nasties’ well away from their soils, however it could be suggested they must struggle with the airborne pollutants – after all, who would have an ‘organic farm’ near to a motorway or under a flight path of a major airport? – don’t be too alarmed but some farmers do!

Now let’s take this one stage further and get to what we believe is the root cause of many of today’s health challenges and that is a lack of vitamins and minerals in our foods.

There have been countless studies carried out and each one confirms that our soils (where we grow our foods) are “significantly” mineral-deficient. Minerals and vitamins in our diet are essential for literally all of our bodily functions; our wellbeing, intelligence, energy and immune system depend on them, as well as building strong bones and teeth, blood, skin, hair, nerve function, muscle and for metabolic processes such as those that turn the food we eat into energy.

But don’t rush out to your health store – as not all vitamins and minerals are the same!  Virtually all supplemental vitamins and minerals are ‘metallic’ i.e. from ground up rocks, clays, salts etc or worse still synthetic.

Plant minerals have helped thousands of people to stay healthy and help offset diseases including diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, asthma, high blood pressure and psoriasis, to name just a few.

The Natural Way

Here’s a scenario you might recognise. You look and feel tired, your energy levels are low and your hair and skin are dry and lifeless.

You tell yourself there are several possible explanations – it’s a typical feeling, you’re overworked, you think you might be coming down with something. Or it might be something far more straightforward which means you’re suffering needlessly.

Many people don’t realise they’re not taking on board the raw nutrients necessary for a healthy, vital and productive life. Intensive farming and food production, use of pesticides and synthetic additives mean our food does not contain the micro nutrients that previous generations took for granted.
