So you have a comfortable job that pays well, but you have also reached the stage where thoughts of starting up your business cannot leave your mind? If you think, “why work for someone else when I can work for myself?”, then it’s a strong indication that you have kept the real ‘creative’ you chained up for too long!
If you are someone who has decided that you have got what it takes to be an entrepreneur and you don’t want to start from scratch, then network marketing is a great option. However, finding the right opportunity for you, can be a challenge as there are many to choose from.
Is it viable?
There are a lot of “get rich quick” schemes out there. If someone tells you that you can become very wealthy virtually overnight while making very little effort, be careful. There are no free lunches when it comes to making money. If it was that simple, we would all be rich. Make sure the opportunity you are considering offers a real product or service and if it has to be built entirely by recruiting, then again be cautious.
Enjoy what you do
This is a no-brainer but it’s almost shocking that most still don’t realise the power of passion! The fact is – you will perform better in a field you enjoy rather than one you don’t. Furthermore, assess how your current knowledge, skills and abilities as well as your value, align with the business.
Be honest with yourself
Owning a business is easy…on paper. Making it profitable is all about the hard work and time you put in. Don’t kid yourself. Entrepreneurship is not for the faint hearted or the risk averse. If the latter describes you, then it is best you find a job working for someone else.
Some business opportunities require very little investment to get started, other’s can be quite considerable. It’s important that you clearly know why you want to own your own business in the first place. Do you want to make some quick pocket change? Or do you want to create a long-term income in an industry that can offer you financial freedom.
Analyse the business
Doing your own due diligence is key and would advise you thoroughly review and analyse all the information of the business you intend to start. Research the company, the Directors, the team leader and the market trends etc as this will give you an idea of what to expect in the near future.
I have an opportunity to speak to you about. During our conversation, I’ll want to hear about you – what motivates you, what you want to achieve in life, why you are looking for an alternative income, why you’ll be committed to learning, why you like the idea of the network marketing profession.
I will be happy to explain exactly how my business works and what we do etc. Then if we’re both happy with each other and depending on the size of business you want to build and how quickly you want your income to grow, I’ll send you the appropriate information. Contact me.
